THE WAY THINGS ARE: The meaning of life is to be found in thinking about what is reality and the beauty of reality is to be found in our DNA's memorization of all forms that have been successfully retained along the four billion years of evolution of the principle of life on Gaia our earth. In the end what I mean to say is that beauty is something objective and what we call ugliness is then simply our unconscientious feel of something evolution did not retain.

Lynn McTaggart via BurkinaLoveFaso , on an interview of Lynn McTaggart on Google Video
Video interview with journalist and author Lynn McTaggart. She and her publisher/husband Bryan Hubbard are directors of a public company called What Doctors Don't Tell You Ltd, which publishes newsletters which scientifically critique mainstream medicine. As well as continuing to write about alternative medicine and editing the What Doctors Don't Tell You publications, McTaggart has also developed a program called Living The Field, based on an understanding of the zero point field that is not accepted by the scientific community. She is heading The Intention Experiment, a large scale web-based investigation to discover if intentions can affect the physical world. Specialization leads to separation, dependency and sickness. Freedom and health come with autonomy. What we know for a fact: 1. We are particles of the whole we live in (humans, all other animals and all matter). 2. All particles are interconnected within the whole. 3. Healthy particles are open to the others and also to the resonance of our global interconnectedness. Willpower separates us. Willpower results out of greed, the search for prestige and more generally the effects of individualism that tend to collapse the societal polarity of humanity. Holistic health systems are thus concentrating on relaxation, meditation and "letting go" as techniques to "stop the mind" in order to allow the self to open to the other particles. Two schools of thoughts are thinking along the lines of what I describe here above. - the top to bottom school of specialists who try to impose their truths on the individuals. Lynn McTaggart falls in this category and makes a living from her status of specialist. - the bottom to top school that rejects the truths of any top to bottom specialist. Buddha, Lao Tze and others fall in this category. This was also the case of the "men of knowledge" or shaman under animism.

Postmodern Times via Dreams in digital / Sya; in Postmodern Times/2012
Postmodern Times is a series of short animated films presenting new ideas about global consciousness and techniques for social and ecological transformation. Our first episode, "Toward 2012", introduces the project, explaining concepts from the best-selling book, "2012: The Return of Quetzalcoatl" (Tarcher/Penguin, 2006) by Daniel Pinchbeck, in the author's own voice. Future segments will focus on shamanism, sustainability, alternative energy systems, the Mayan Calendar, quantum physics and synchronicity, human sexuality, and a host of other subjects. From what we know societal evolution goes in stages: 1. Animism, tribes, plucking and hunting. 2. Religions and philosophies , kingdoms and empires, agriculture. 3. modernity , kingdoms and republics, industry and long distance trade. 4. postmodernity , highly creative and conscientious individual cells are interconnected within "small groups" that are interconnected with other small groups. Some see this whole societal architecture as a rhizome (Jeff Vail) Here are some videos that prefigure such a possible societal rhizome:

The main objective of this site is to help promote the work of brave individuals who have found the courage to speak the truth regardless of what other people think. As we are living in a time of global dysfunction on the earth, our natural human birth-rights are being stolen from us by an elite criminal network (*of all races and creed) in order to create a Totalitarian globalized society (via the use of Hegelian dialectic - problem reaction solution). Controversial as it may be, a push for World Zionism, Neofeudalism and mind control via the mass communications media seem to be the common purpose in the active groups and powerful oligarchical families participating in this criminal plot. Awakening the Divine Within via Bruce Eisner's Vision Thing; on You Tube, by smileycoyote
Terence McKenna, Alex Grey, and Stanislov Grof are among the people that speak here in this inspiring piece put together by Entheogen.TV. The question remains, will we climb out of barbarism and into some form of legitimate civilization or will we die and take Earth with us?

No we will not take the earth with us. Fortunately we do not have such a power. But we could very well take 95% of all species on earth with us. We are no match for the earth it will continue its own existence without humans eventually. If our earth were cleared of humans then the principle of life on earth would definitely have the chance to enter into a new cycle of expansion (evolution-development). And then what? Would that new cycle conclude again with the suicide of its most developed specie? There is just no practical reason that I can think about for us to even think about that question. Let us just observe that modernity has pushed humanity on the brink of falling in the precipice of extinction. - A minority of sensitive people are saying that it is too late to counteract modernity that we are already in free fall and that it is only a question of time before the earth is cleared of humanity or at least of human civilization. - On the other extreme is the majority of the people who are blinded by the ideological powder of greed, the lust for material possessions, and individualism that modernity continually throws in their eyes. They are consuming themselves into obesity, the flesh expanded, the consciousness molten away. - I'm conscient that we are on the road to the brink. But the understanding that the principle of life on earth would definitely enter into a new cycle of expansion, after humanity's extinction or the collapse of its civilizations, procures me with a pause. This is what gives me the energy to observe what is unfolding without any interference of my personal wishes on my observation. I ultimately find unmeasurable pleasure observing nature, the working of societies the working of modernity, and also thinking about what life could be like if more of us had the courage to live our dreams. I never lost the hope that we eventually all could live our dreams and dream our lives... that's what powers my thinking, my painting, and my life.

Amazing visualization technique. Comment by Spineboy: "The graph data was from APRILs housing data, and we've already had about a 10-15% drop from the 2005 prices. For those who don't know, this is a plot of the Case-Schiller housing index price, which has been accurate since data was kept - from 1890. Median home price data, etc are all skewed/don't reflect the market, since cheaper houses aren't selling. Goldman-Sachs, and other firms/investors, are expecting a 35-40% drop in California housing prices!!!" Richard Dawkins' jaw-dropping talk on our bizarre universe on Google video,a TED talk
Richard Dawkins is Oxford University's "Professor for the Public Understanding of Science." Author of the landmark 1976 book, The Selfish ... all - Gene, he's a brilliant (and trenchant) evangelist for Darwin's ideas. In this talk, titled, "Queerer Than We Suppose: The strangeness of science," he suggests that the true nature of the universe eludes us, because the human mind evolved only to understand the "middle-sized" world we can observe. Many of my past posts are illustrations of my absence of patience for the mechanistic logic of science. This presentation by Dawkins shows that this mechanistic logic of science is not really a failure of science per se but of scientists. Dawkins (biology) rejoins Villenkin (astronomy) in the conclusion that humans are "stuck" in their dimension of reality without any chance to ever have a peak into the other dimensions. - Villenkin defines our dimension as an island bordering other islands that are irremediably inaccessible within the whole of our universe (in the physical sense). - As a biologist Dawkins speaks about the nature of humanity being limited to the function of the individual's survival. Our brains receive the images that our eyes see and analyze them in order to command the response that best will protect our existence as individuals. We are thus not equipped to see further than what habitually impacts our existence what Dawkins calls the middle world. Around the middle world are thus other worlds that we are not equipped to detect nor to dwell into. By recognizing the limits of the human world within the whole of our universe Dawkins and Villenkin are, de facto, recognizing the limits of science and the ensuing necessity for science to find a place within the context of a view of the universe, a view of reality, or a worldview that integrates science in a simple, beautiful, and globally encompassing story of reality or of our universe. Humans are in a dire need to share such a worldview on a worldwide scale. I believe that only the sharing of such a worldview can unite us all behind a sustainable way of life. My painting and writings are about such a post-modern worldview.

Debunking third-world myths with the best stats you've ever seen. on YouTube a talk by Hans Rosling
You've never seen data presented like this. With the drama and urgency of a sportscaster, Hans Rosling debunks myths about the so-called "developing world" using extraordinary animation software developed by his Gapminder Foundation. The Trendalyzer software (recently acquired by Google) turns complex global trends into lively animations, making decades of data pop. Asian countries, as colorful bubbles, float across the grid -- toward better national health and wealth. Animated bell curves representing national income distribution squish and flatten. In Rosling's hands, global trends -- life expectancy, child mortality, poverty rates -- become clear, intuitive and even playful. Debunking third-world myths with the best stats you've ever seen

An excellent presentation of world health statistics and their movement in time. There should be no doubt left that the increase in life expectancy experienced by all nations entering modernity is not primarily provoked by the spread of modern medicine but well by the application of simple hygiene principles. Among those the distribution of drinkable water to people's houses has assuredly acted as the most determinant parameter...
